What is a Whiskey Infused or Cured Barrel?<\/h2>\n

  1. The mini oak barrel is already cured and ready to use. Just pour your liquor in and start aging.<\/li>\n
  2. All oak barrels must be cured before use. Normally you cure it yourself. Most people use water because who wants a cup of their own liquor soaked in to the wood that you can\u2019t drink? But if we could soak some whiskey in your barrel then now you have some great flavor already pre-loaded in your barrel.<\/li>\n
  3. If you are making a bootleg batch of whiskey using our essence (bootleg) it tastes better when you can age it in a barrel cured with whiskey since it will pull the flavors in from the wood.<\/li>\n
  4. A great way to have your barrel seasoned or preflavored with one whiskey flavor and they you can age another whiskey in the barrel. Try aging an Irish Whiskey in a barrel that was cured with a honey bourbon. Just a hint of honey on the back end of your Irish Whiskey.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
